Welcome to the RRPictureArchives.NET contributor site of Zach Pumphery.

Hello and welcome. This is the photo site of SEMO RAILS -Hot spots, operations, tips, and more for railfanning within Missouri. Please visit for more photos, railfan Locations, multimedia Links, and locomotive rosters. About Me:
I'm 21, people call me Pump, I reside in the Kansas City Metro Area
with my Girlfriend Caitlin. I drive a Chevrolet Silverado, I like EMD Locomotives, Old GEs and ALCOs, and I'm a steam
fan. I'm also a railroader, having been with Union Pacific Railroad as a
Conductor in 2008, and most recently with the Missouri & Northern
Arkansas Railroad as a Conductor/Student Engineer in 2009-2010. I plan
on getting back into the field as soon as I can.
What You'll Find Here:
Here you will find images of freight railroads, passenger trains, Class 1 Railroads, shortline companies, MOW operations, and everything in between that I have taken across the United States from 1994-Present. From 1994-2007 most of my material was taken around Southeast Missouri. With my move to the Kansas City Area in 2007 brought along new opportunities. Equipment: Prior to Mid-2009, I used various point and shoot film and
digital models from Kodak, Hewlett-Packard, and Canon. As of 6-2-09 I shoot pictures with a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with an 18-55MM Lens, and a 75-300MM Lens. Starting on 6-15-10, I began occasionally using a Canon Rebel 2000 EOS with a Quantaray 28-90MM Lens using Kodachrome ISO 64 and ISO 200 Slide Film, as well as some Kodak Gold ISO 200 and Kodak BW400CN ISO 400 Black and White Print Films. Everything is shot in manual mode. I use collapsible lens hoods, a tripod, and a cable release for almost all of my night images. I also have a Niskika Twin Light 3010
Flash. I edit using any combination of Google Picasa, Adobe Photoshop, Photomatix, and Canon Digital Photo Professional.
I hope you enjoy.
