Description:  The Bush 41 Unit heads up UP Train QDYAS 05 as it heads away from the UP North Dexter Crew Change Point at 0747. This was the unit's 6th visit to Dexter, it will make it's 7th tomorrow on the MASPB 07. It was under a tarp during the first trip through. It's slowly becoming a more frequent sight, nearly 2 years after it was unvieled.

Locomotives Involved in Train-Truck Accident
Title:  Locomotives Involved in Train-Truck Accident
Description:  These were the first 2 of 4 units on the KMNOA 30 last Sunday on 9-30-07 when they struck a tractor trailer carrying cotton a few miles south of town, killing the truck driver. They were moved up here in the Dexter House Track around 1500 that afternoon. The truck exploded and was pushed .8 mile before the train came to a stop. This truly was a rare sort of accident, in that the unique set of circumstances presented made it nearly unavoidable. My heart goes out to the Ross Family, and the crew members on the train.

Title:  Southbound UP Auto Train
Description:  Rolling down the UP Jonesboro Sub. is UP Train AINAR 07 with an Ex-CR, Nee-PRR 6052 SD40, built in 2-66 leading. This was the scene of an accident last Sunday on 9-30-07, Stoddard County Highway D at MP 45.65 on the UP Jonesboro Sub. when UP Train KMNOA 30 with UP 4105 leading struck a tractor trailer loaded with cotton. The truck exploded and set the spilled diesel and cotton on fire, along with a mile or so of the ROW. The cotton was still smoldering a week later in a couple spots.

Description:  Crossing Missouri Highway 18 just a couple hundred feet from Kansas we see KCS Train C-AMKC 22 running up the line towards the BNSF at Kansas City with 122 empties. The train originates at La Cygne, KS, and ties into the Pittsburg Sub. Mainline via a spur off of Amsterdam Siding. The train pulled into Drexel Siding and met 3 southbounds. This will become BNSF Train E KCLCAM0 54 when it is delivered at interchange tonight in KC.
