Fairmont Speeder
Title:  Fairmont Speeder
Description:  This is what I will spend 88 miles riding tomorrow with site contributor Craig Meador ( http://cmeador.rrpicturearchives.net ) and the owner Tom Pruitt of Poplar Bluff. This was at Casey's General Store on the east side of town, getting lots of odd looks. This would be my first rodeo when it comes to these rigs! This run took place on the COLT Railroad (Columbia Terminal, municipally owned, here's their website: http://www.gocolumbiamo.com/WaterandLight/COLT/ ). We had 17 cars before lunch, 12 afterwards. I'd like to extend a special thanks to the COLT, First Iowa Division (http://www.firstiowadivision.com ),Narcoa ( http://www.narcoa.org ), Christian Johanningmeier, Tom, Craig, and everybody else who helped make this happen for me and everybody else, now that I've given out the props, lets get started!

Down to 12
Title:  Down to 12
Description:  We had 4 riders go home at lunch. They were throwing the switch to the set off track and you had to point which direction you wanted to go, which was really cool, lol. At this time we went over and ate our lunch that we packed.

Southern Pacific Speeder
Title:  Southern Pacific Speeder
Description:  I liked this little Fairmont, something really cool is that the default image name off my camera was 100_4449, 4449 is perhaps the most famous SP steamer of all time. I also really like the IC motorcar behind it, which is like a small bus.

Title:  GP15-1
Description:  This old Mo-Pac Veteran doesn't hang around here much (neither do any of the GP15's), so it was a treat to see this older unit. My grandpa and I pulled into the yard for a shot of her.
