The Mo-Pac Heritage Locomotive leads UP Train IHOYC 26 out of Poplar Bluff just east of town on the UP Hoxie Sub. At the time the engine was still kept pretty clean, none of the decals were peeling or burnt off, and the paint hadn't begun to fade, and none of it needed touching up. Over 6 years later, that simply isn't the case with 1982. |

The Mo-Pac Heritage Locomotive led UP Train IHOYC 26 through MO Jct. this morning off of the Old Missouri Pacific onto the Old Cotton Belt. It will be on former SSW Tracks until it gets to Illinois. From there northward it was MP trackage to Valley Junction with SSW Trackage Rights. I'd been waiting for a shot like this with the Mo-Pac Engine leading the train and being well lit, and I finally got exactly what I wanted! |
