Description:  An ex-RLCX, nee-LMX B39-8E leads a train down Amsterdam Siding shortly before meeting a northbound KCS empty coal train. The KCS Pittsburg Sub. was relatively busy that day after an afternoon of MOW Windows.

Stored KCS Locomotives in KCS Knoche Yard
Title:  Stored KCS Locomotives in KCS Knoche Yard
Description:  14 units that had been in storage were shoved over here by the roundhouse after 10 months of storage. The conductor on the job can be seen tying a handbrake on the 658. He told me KCS might be planning on scrapping and parting these out, or reselling some. Included in the line of engines is KCS 3240, a white ghost SD40-2, and KCS 3200, ex-KCS 637, which was the 1st SD40-2 ever built.
