1943 Lima Built SP GS-6, and was a dual service engine. Built during WWII, they were referred to as "War Babies". The only other surviving GS engine is GS-4 #4449, which is the way more famous operating SP Daylight engine. 4460 pulled the last SP steam trips in 1958. |
