Description:  Rolling towards UP Neff Yard on the KC Metro Sub. along the Missouri River is UP Train MATKC 17 with the first of the original UP order for 1,000 SD70Ms. Kind of ironic that the wing decals applied to this unit bringing the logo back to the UP after a 30 year hiatus were applied 10 years ago today on my 10th birthday. Today was my 20th. I never thought it would take 10 years to see this engine on the point.

Description:  We're sitting dead at CP I074 is UP Train MCHTR 08. We went on duty at 23:45, and our crew ended up being on duty 16 hours and 4 minutes. This effectively blocked both main tracks, since the other was occupied by men and equipment replacing ties with new ones like the bundle shown to the right.
