Description:  A rare consist here, a warbonnet Dash-9 leads a pair of Southern Belles lead a grain train from the BNSF at C`uncil Bluffs, IA into KCS Knoche Yard in Kansas City. I've never seen a warbonnet lead a grain train on the KCS, and it's kind of cool to see the two paint schemes Mike Haverty brought back from the dead at the ATSF and KCS in the same consist.

This is a hard shot to get unless you know about something coming off the KCS headed to the BNSF, being that those type of moves are basically the only thing that runs this way. I happened to be leaving Union Station when I saw them coming and headed back over here to set up.

Title:  KCS Manifest Train
Description:  Power off a manifest headed to the diesel shop at Kansas Avenue at the west end of KCS Knoche Yard. KCS 2020 has a nice Leslie RS-5T which about made my ears bleed--engineer laid on it for the crossing. Doesn't get much better than that.
