RailPower Genset sits outside MAC 4 months and 1 day after it went in, after receiving a little mechanical modification. This engine started life in 11-78 as a GE B23-7, MP 2318, then became MP 4629, and UP 129. It was retired and rebuilt in 2007. From the frame down it looks much like its former self, but I sure wish it was still a B23-7. |
