| The Railroad Days Limited comes off the Missouri River Bridge and arrives into UP's Hometown, and its destination, The Durham Western Heritage Museum, better known as Omaha Union Station, ending today's trip for UP Train SNPOM 19 from North Platte. Even though the train is moving railroad west, this is the eastbound leg of the trip. If you squint your eyes and remove a couple poles it could be 1945 again. This is probably my favorite picture today, sheerly because I finally got to shoot an Operating UP Steam Locomotive where it actually belongs, on home rails. |
