Southbound KCS Loaded Grain Train |
Description: |
A rare consist here, a warbonnet Dash-9 leads a pair of Southern Belles lead a grain train from the BNSF at C`uncil Bluffs, IA into KCS Knoche Yard in Kansas City. I've never seen a warbonnet lead a grain train on the KCS, and it's kind of cool to see the two paint schemes Mike Haverty brought back from the dead at the ATSF and KCS in the same consist. |

Sunset on the Belles |
Description: |
KCS Retro Belles (and a few gray units) rest at the diesel shop at the end of the day, but as most anybody reading this knows, a railroader's day might only be dawning as the sun goes down. |
