This is a rebuilt SD40, and is the only remaining unit on the CP Roster in I&M Rail Link Paint, trailing on CP Train B92-10. The IMRL operated the mostly Ex-SOO track from 1997 when the CP divested themselves of the line they claimed to be losing money on, through 2002 when IMRL owner Washington Corp. deemed it unprofitable. Cedar American Railroad Holdings certainly reversed that opinion of the line with the Iowa Chicago & Eastern before its sale back to CP in 2008. |
