Description:  Here's an ex-UP, nee-MP Unit back on Home Rails that came in on UP Train MNLPF 05 on this Cinco de Mayo. This battered beauty was built as MP 3232 in September 1976 before becoming MP 6016. It was one of the group of 74 MP SD40-2c's built to BN Specifications for Pool Coal Service. LTEX's Patch Job has seen better days.

Description:  Headed down the Jonesboro Sub. with a diverse quartet of power was UP Train MPRPB 05 as the engineer waves during the last light of the day. At least 10 railfans chased this train. I met 3 guys in Dexter who had chased the train down from Illinois. Nice meeting all of them. Great to have a little bit of company up there for a change.

Description:  We had a Mini Moron-O-Thon in Brian's backyard as Pat, IKE, Brian, Spiv, and I phoamed at the pretty Rio Grande and Espee Units. The Dash-8 was offline since it gave Dave "trouble" this morning and it was sent to the back of the consist. The only problem with the Dash-8 was the the fact that it was a Dash-8 and Spiv wanted to run 9859 on its last pre-mothball trip.

Description:  The pulled the MNLPF Power up to the Yard Office for refueling, leaving the local power sitting on the wye next to Ditch Road. On my way home from a cookout I found the ex-MP GP50 staring out towards the UPS Terminal on the Poplar Bluff Yard Wye.

Description:  We chased UP Train ZLDYC 30 over here to MO Jct. from Ash Hill after I saw it dash past my grandpa's house. You just don't see as much of the older power such as this on intermodals anymore.

Description:  A Brand New SD70ACe and another one that is now 2 years old head UP Train QASLI 31 around the curve just south of Dexter at Stoddard County Old Sand Road on the Old Cotton Belt. If you were a World Poker Tour Fan around this time, this train would have been equipped with "Pocket Rockets". I remember feeling like a boss pimp after taking this then.
