Title:  Southbound Intermodal in the Snow
Description:  This was the first train of the day after it started snowing, it is pushing 2 inches of snow off the rail head with the first axle. This was really powdery snow and the trains really blew it around today. This one passed at 50 mph. School was canceled today at Malden and dad and I ventured out into the winter wonderland. We ended up getting 4 inches, a good sized snow for this area, especially when it was right at freezing when the precipitation occured.

Description:  The Bush 41 Unit heads up UP Train QDYAS 05 as it heads away from the UP North Dexter Crew Change Point at 0747. This was the unit's 6th visit to Dexter, it will make it's 7th tomorrow on the MASPB 07. It was under a tarp during the first trip through. It's slowly becoming a more frequent sight, nearly 2 years after it was unvieled.

Description:  We were at Stoddard County Highway ZZ up the hill in a housing development that is under construction just west of Dexter as UP Train IHOYC 08 came by. It was supposed to have UP 1988, the MKT "Katy" Heritage Unit in the consist between these two. It obviously was not. We later found out that it was removed from the consist in Hoxie, Arkansas because it was giving a locked wheel detection. We searched every siding all the way to Arkansas and never found it!
