The wreck was around 30 hours prior at this point. As a railroader and human being my initial concern with a derailment is the safety of those involved. Once you find out nobody got hurt your attention turns to the equipment involved, and I for one and glad that those tasty CB&Q signals and that cantilever didn't get mowed down. |
